Market values Russia: Vlasić with new top value - Spartak reach €100m
As one of Europe's last leagues, the Russian Premier Liga closed the transfer window on Oct. 17. With the window closed, Transfermarkt.ru has updated 73 players of Russia's top division. Three players were the biggest winners: Nikola Vlasić, Wendel, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia had a plus of €3 million.
With a market value of €25 million, Vlasić is now the most valuable player at CSKA Moscow and the second most valuable behind Zenit's Malcom (€30m). The reason for his rise is his excellent performances but also the interest of several European top clubs.
Kvaratskhelia has also impressed for Rubin Kazan and the Georgian national team with whom the 19-year-old could still qualify for Euro 2020. Kvicha, as the left-winger is called in Russia, was already one of the best dribblers in the league last season and has once again improved. In 11 games, he managed two goals and four assists.
Wendel's market value, in the meantime, was adjusted to reflect the €20.3 million Zenit paid to Sporting. The same is true for CSKA's new signing Bruno Fuchs (+€2.7m to €4.5m) and Chidera Ejuke (+€2.5m to €8m), who were the player with the fourth and fifth biggest jump respectively.
Ejuke aside, three other players saw their market value grow by €2.5 million thanks to good performances in the first third of the season. One of them is Jordan Larsson, the son of former Celtic striker Henrik, who has been fantastic under German coach Domenico Tedesco and with a market value of €6.5 million is now the most valuable forward in Spartak Moscow's squad. The Russian record champions, who are even on points with league leaders Zenit (to the table), have seen their squad value grow by €10 million and are now one of four Russian teams with a market value of €100 million or more.

Normann, who arrived in 2019 Brighton & Albion, was targeted by various English clubs in the summer and is now the sixth Norwegian player to reach a market value of €10 million or more.
The only major players to lose in market values were the Russian U21 players Fedor Chalov and Shapi Suleymanov; both have struggled to regain last season's form. Both saw their market value decrease by €1 million; Chalov is now worth €13 million and Suleymanov €10 million.
