Da suggestione a progetto il passo è stato rapidissimo. La Roma si fionda su Alvaro Morata, che sin dalla primavera era stato indicato da Mourinho come sostituto di Abraham. Adesso si può e forse si deve chiudere. Il pressing dell’allenatore, unito all’amicizia fraterna di Dybala, ha creato le premesse di un accordo che Tiago Pinto sta cercando di perfezionare. Le condizioni dell’offerta, che Morata è pronto ad accettare, sono le seguenti: quattro anni di contratto, quindi scadenza 2027, per 4,5 milioni più bonus a stagione. Wie die Corriere dello Sport heute berichtet, versuchen Trainer José Mourinho und Mittelfeldspieler Paulo Dybala, den Mittelstürmer persönlich von einem Wechsel in die italienische Hauptstadt zu überzeugen. Das finanzielle Angebot belaufe sich auf 4,5 Millionen Euro pro Jahr in einem Vierjahres-Vertrag. Mit der Spielerseite will sich Sportdirektor Tiago Pinto laut Gianluca di Marzio nächste Woche treffen.Schwieriger wird wohl die Einigung mit Atlético Madrid. Die Colchoneros wollen Morata nicht verkaufen, und beharren daher auf einer vertraglichen festgehaltenen Ausstiegsklausel von 21 Millionen Euro. Die Berater des 30-Jährigen beziehen sich indes auf ein angebliches Gentleman’s Agreement mit Atlético, wonach ein Wechsel für 10 bis 12 Millionen Euro möglich sein soll, heißt es.
Neben der Roma könnte bald noch Inter ins Werben einsteigen. Der Champions-League-Finalist muss Romelu Lukaku ersetzen.
